Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts" Louis Jadot 2009

This type of wine is known as “l’enfant terrible” in wine’s world: it is an aristocratic and original wine variety, which manages to give birth to extraordinary wines in Burgundy. “Les Beaux Monts” wine represents elegance: it shows a light ruby red colour with some purple nuances, while it includes charming fragrances together with hints of currant, cherry, strawberry, chocolate and spices. The taste is extremely soft, fragrant and endowed with sweet tannins; it combines perfectly with roasted and sauced red meats, game and seasoned cheeses.

The property was built by Henri Louis Jadot Denis in 1859 and nowadays it is specialized in exportations and in the commerce of Burgundy wine. The estate counts 270 hectares of vineyards in Burgundy and these wine-makers want to enhance, through their wines, a real Burgundy, that is proud about its origins and pointed towards the future. Moreover, each member of the property has the task of dedicate talent to wines’ services, but the composition of the acreage is more important, because it can be identified as the result of a perfect harmony between man and nature. Louis Jados’motto is: ‘we produce Burgundy wines and it means that everybody enriches the past in order to build a good future’.
