The Gattinara Riserva by Travaglini Giancarlo is an excellent red wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown on the hills of Gattinara. The Gattinara Riserva of Travaglini is a classy, refined and intense Nebbiolo that ages in wood 5 years before being put on the market. It is considered one of the excellences of the Travaglini winery; it has a nice intense garnet-red color and an elegant and intense bouquet, with scents of roses and berries. It is a fresh wine, with compact tannins and a long persistence. It is equipped with a marked minerality. The Gattinara Roserva by Travaglini Giancarlo is excellent to drink in combination with meat dishes such as roasts or game.

The Travaglini winery is a prestigious family-run business founded in 1958 by Giancarlo Travaglini and now managed by his daughter Cinzia, together with her husband, the enologist Massimo Collaudo. This winery is considered one of the most famous and important production reality of the DOCG Gattinara; it has always been committed to obtain wines of absolute quality, respecting the territory and tradition. The wines are preserved in a special bottle designed by Giancarlo Travaglini, whose shape was designed to retain the sediments when the wine is being poured in the glass.
