Barbaresco docg Vallegrande Ca' del Baio 2021

The Barbaresco docg Vallegrande by Cà del Baio winery is a wine with a traditional style, aged for 24 months exclusively in large Slavonian oak barrels. It has a beautiful intense garnet red color; at the nose it develops intense and fruity aromas, with hints of black cherry jam, dried flowers and undergrowth. The taste is dry, velvety and harmonious, with a warm and tannic ending. This Barbaresco matches perfectly with roast meats or mature cheeses.

The Grasso family manages the Cà del Baio winery for four generations. Nowadays the company is managed by Giulio and Luciana, together with his daughters Paola, Valentina and Federica, who with passion and experience play different roles, from work in the countryside, in the cellar and up to the marketing of wines. Cà del Baio winery owns 28 hectares of vineyards in the area of Barbaresco and Treiso, both with typical Piedmont vine variety and with vine variety of international origin.
