Description

The Barbaresco Gallina by Castello di Neive is an authentic Barbaresco DOCG, a pure expression of Nebbiolo grown in the renowned “Gallina” cru, in the beautiful area of Neive. In the glass, it shows a bright garnet red color, sometimes with ruby highlights. On the nose, it offers elegant and refined aromas, with notes of cherry and ripe berries, violet and dried flowers, accompanied by delicate hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it stands out for its balanced and harmonious structure: soft, fine, and elegant tannins, good acidity, and a persistence that adds elegance and depth. Full-bodied and harmonious in flavor, it pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts, braised dishes, game, mushrooms, aged cheeses, and traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The Barbaresco Gallina by Castello di Neive combines tradition, elegance, and easy drinkability, ready to enjoy now but also with good aging potential.
