More info

The Barbaresco "Lorens", which means Lorenzo in Piedmontese dialect, was produced for the first time in 2005. Produced with the best grapes grown in the vineyards "Bricco Ambrogio" and “Rocche dei Sette Fratelli” in Treiso, the wine has a beautiful intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. It is aged  in barriques and tonneaux for 24 months and in bottle for 12 months. The aroma is very fine and complex with hints of ripe fruit and licorice. The taste is well structured, full, harmonious and balanced with a long and persistent final. The Barbaresco "Lorens" of Lodali goes perfectly with truffle courses and well-seasoned cheeses.

Manufacturer

The Lodali winery is located in Treiso, a small town in the heart of the Langhe region. In 1958 the owner Lorenzo, with the help of his wife Rita, started to produce the first cru of Barolo and Barbaresco wines. After the death of her husband, Rita, with a son still young, had to carry on the winery continuing to focus on the production of quality wines. A few years later, in 1998, his son Walter graduated from the Enological School of Alba and despite his young age, he rolled  up the sleeves immediately  and started running the company, with excellent results. In fact, the winery Lodali is considered a reference point in the production of fine wines.
