Description

This is a Barbera d’Alba endowed with an own character and it presents an intense ruby red colour with some yellow-crowned reflexes and various perfumes of dog rose, cherry, blueberry, coffee, tobacco and menthol. This is a wine of good structure and softness, with an intense and persistent taste: in fact this wine is perfect in combination with flavorful first courses, typical second courses based on meat and seasoned cheeses.

The Barbera d'Alba by Matteo Correggia is a wine of great personality and character, endowed with a beautiful, very intense ruby ​​red color with violet reflections. After aging in small wood for at least 3 months, in the nose it expresses ample and composite aromas of dog rose, cherry and raspberry, in addition to a background of coffee, tobacco and menthol. This wine has a great structure and softness, sure longevity, with a powerful and intense flavor, in addition to a persistent finish. The  Barbera d'Alba by Matteo Correggia is perfect to drink with savory first courses, stuffed pasta, typical courses of Piedmontese cuisine and aged cheeses.
