Riesling igt Tenuta San Leonardo 2019

Riesling by Tenuta San Leonardo is made with 100% Riesling grapes harvested at 700 metres above the sea level. In the glass, it reveals a bright and pale-yellow colour; the bouquet is wide, with citrus and mineral notes, besides scents of tropical fruits and flint stone. The sip is full-bodied, dynamic, fresh and sapid, with a persistent after-taste. We recommend it with smoked or steamed fish, fresh cheese and blue cheese.

The cave was established in 1724 in the place where there was a monastery, and starting from that moment it always belongs to the same family. Today the Marquise Carlo Guerrieri of Gonzaga manages this winery, situated in the south of the Trentino and it includes 25 hectares of vineyards, that go back up the end of 1800, when the Gonzaga aimed for a wines’ production, that was different from the other wine for its refinement. The typical wines of the cave are the Merlot, the Sauvignon, the Chardonnay and the black and grey Pinot.
