Vette di San Leonardo Sauvignon Blanc by Tenuta San Leonardo gives its name to the mountains surroundings the vineyards where the grapes are harvested. The wine is mineral and fresh, with a straw yellow colour and green shades. The bouquet is intense and wide with notes of white peach, green pepper and sage. The sip is dry, fresh and well structured. We recommend it with appetizers, grilled or smoked fish, white meat, cold cuts and soft cheese.
The cave was established in 1724 in the place where there was a monastery, and starting from that moment it always belongs to the same family. Today the Marquise Carlo Guerrieri of Gonzaga manages this winery, situated in the south of the Trentino and it includes 25 hectares of vineyards, that go back up the end of 1800, when the Gonzaga aimed for a wines’ production, that was different from the other wine for its refinement. The typical wines of the cave are the Merlot, the Sauvignon, the Chardonnay and the black and grey Pinot.
