Langhe Chardonnay doc Buschet Moccagatta 2019

The Langhe Chardonnay Buschet of Moccagatta winery is a white wine made with 100% of Chardonnay grapes cultivated in the homonymous vineyard, in the municipality of Barbaresco. With a pleasing freshness and drinkability, it has a beautiful golden yellow color; its bouquet is composite and fruity with hints of yellow apple, apricot, caramel and hazelnut. Its taste is spicy, fruity , lively, full bodied, very aromatic and well balanced. The Chardonnay Buschet of Moccagatta is a perfect wine to drink in combination with appetizers or main courses of fish or grilled white meats.

In 1800 Giovanni Minuto was the owner of some estates in the locality of Barbaresco: these territories began to be used by Giovanni’s son, Luigi, in order to produce wine. Lorenzo and Mario divided the management of the winery in 1952: in that moment Mario inherited the Moccagatta’s estate, that gives the name to the cave. Today the winery is carried out by Francesco and Sergio, with the help of their sons Stefano and Martina. They work the 15 hectares of vineyards and they manage to produce about 65 000 bottles every year.
