M Mario Schiopetto Collio doc Schiopetto 2019

The Mario Schiopetto is the white wine that best represents the philosophy of the Schiopetto winery. It is an elegant and harmonious wine, produced with Friulano grapes and a small part of Riesling grapes; it has a beautiful straw yellow color with golden reflections. After nine months of aging in stainless steel, it develops an elegant, delicate and fruity bouquet with notes of ripe white fruit. Wine with an enveloping, balanced, elegant and mineral taste, the Mario Schiopetto is an excellent white wine perfect to drink in combination with pasta or main courses based on fish or white meat.

The history of the Schiopetto winery has its origins in Capriva, where Mario Schioppetto rented the vineyards of the Curia around the Archiepiscopal Palace in 1970. Mario was able to transform old and uncultivated lands into vineyards treated in detail, until finally  the vineyards of the Curia became his property in 1989. He managed to transmit his love and passion for tradition to his children who helped him to run the company over the years. The Schiopetto winery, which is owned by the Rotolo family since 2014, continues to be the voice of the philosophy of Mario Schioppetto and gives us excellent wines.
