Tuzko is the Hungarian estate of the Marchesi Antinori. Piero Antinori, with Peter Zwack and Jacopo Mazzei gave a decisive impulse to the renovation of the winery taking advantage of the opening to foreign investments after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Fascinated by the landscape and the productivity of the Hungarian lands, the Marchesi Antinori decided in 2000 to take control of the estate in first person. Tuzko, with 140 hectares of vines between white and red grapes, represents an excellence among the wineries of Eastern Europe especially for the attention paid to the potential of the native vines.
