"Pactio" Fertuna 2009

This structured wine is made up of 60% of Sangiovese, 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% of Merlot. It shows a light ruby red colour with fruited perfumes of currant, blueberries, blackberries, spices, sweet hints and vanilla. The taste is warm and soft, elegant with sweet tannins; it combines perfectly with platters based on meats, game, platters with ragu sauce, medium seasoned cheeses.

The present managers of the cave represent the sixth generation: in fact, Angelino Zannoni managed to purchase a property, the so-called ‘Fertuna’’ in 1907. From father to son this passion for wine and soil has been bequeathed: today the cave counts 38 hectares of vineyards, that are always cultivated by Zannoni family.
