The Langhe Nebbiolo “Bottti” of Pecchenino winery is an elegant wine, with a intense ruby red colour. It has intense, floral and fruited perfumes, with hints of blueberries, blackberries, violet and dog rose quite. The taste is dry, harmonic, endowed with freshness and tannins. This wine is perfect in combination with first courses, second platters based on white meat and seasoned cheeses.
Founded at the end of 1700, Pecchenino’s farm has got a family management since the beginning, handing down the estate from father to son. Just in 1986, the canteen was founded and actually it is managed by Attilio and Orlando Pecchenino. Typical wines of this area are produced in the vineyards situated in Dogliani and in Monforte d’Alba and they are very charming with good quality and a great personality. The 70% of the production is represented by Dolcetto wine, then Barbera, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Pecchenion’s brothers begin to produce also Barolo, an excellent wine, which gives them a great success.
