"Terre di San Leonardo" Tenuta San Leonardo 2009

This elegant wine derives from the joining of the best grapes of the estate; it presents a brilliant ruby red colour and various, elegant perfumes of raspberries, blackberries and violets. This wine is rich of personality and structure, while the taste is dry, soft and balanced: thanks to its persistence, it is perfect in combination with stuffed pasta, grilled meats, salt cakes and medium seasoned cheeses.

The cave was established in 1724 in the place where there was a monastery, and starting from that moment it always belongs to the same family. Today the Marquise Carlo Guerrieri of Gonzaga manages this winery, situated in the south of the Trentino and it includes 25 hectares of vineyards, that go back up the end of 1800, when the Gonzaga aimed for a wines’ production, that was different from the other wine for its refinement. The typical wines of the cave are the Merlot, the Sauvignon, the Chardonnay and the black and grey Pinot.
