Sauvignon Blanc "Sancerre" Pascal Jolivet 2015

This is an elegant white Sauvignon, produced with grapes deriving from the best vineyards of the Sancerres area. It has floral hints, in addition to elderflower’ and gooseberry’ s smells. This is a simple and immediate wine, with a clean character typical of the white Sauvignon. It is excellent if fresh drunk in combination with shellfish, fish dinners, white meats and goat cheeses.

Pascal is one of the most energetic wine makers of the Loire Valley, which is 200 kilometers far from Paris. The estate was built in 1987 and it specializes in a production of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, wines that are obtained by the white Sauvignon, which allow the owner Pascal to gain a great reputation. Today the vineyards cover a surface of 70 hectares. Pascal Jolivet wants to give the word to the nature, through his wine, which is the emblem of purity and also mirror of these French territories. For this reason the grape and its juice are manipulated with an extreme care, especially during the wine-making.
