The Monferrato rosso "Pin" of La Spinetta winery is dedicated to Giuseppe Rivetti, known as "Pin", who was able to pass on to his sons Carlo, Bruno and Giorgio the love for the Piedmontese territory and its traditions. Pin is a red wine produced with 65% of Nebbiolo and 35% of Barbera; it shows a beautiful ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose develops intense and composite, fruity, floral and spicy aromas, with hints of raspberries and berries. Fresh and well balanced wine, its taste develops hints of underbrush and is characterized by a pleasing tannic and persistent final. The Monferrato rosso "Pin" by La Spinetta is perfect to drink with handmade gnocchi with meat sauce, medium-aged cheeses and typical cold cuts of the Piedmontese tradition.
