Description

Nipozzano Vecchie Viti by Marchesi de Frescobaldi is made from Sangiovese grapes and traditional complementary varieties (Malvasia Nera, Colorino, and Canaiolo). A complex and harmonious wine, it comes from the oldest vineyards of Castello Nipozzano and is aged for two years in large oak barrels. It shows a deep, brilliant ruby red color. Fresh balsamic hints and a delicate spicy undertone further enhance its complexity. On the palate, it is well-balanced and persistent, with well-integrated, mature tannins. With a solid structure and a long, persistent finish, Nipozzano Vecchie Viti by Marchesi Frescobaldi pairs beautifully with traditional Tuscan dishes, meat-filled cannelloni, grilled red meats, and cured meats.
