More info

The Ripe al Convento di Castelgiocondo is an elegant Brunello di Montalcino wine that shows a wonderful and intense ruby red colour, with some dark red reflexes. Its bouquet is various and complex with fruited hints of cherry, blackberries, mixed berries, black pepper and cardamom. With a full and harmonic taste, endowed with great structure, this wine gives excellent results if combined with roasts, Tuscany salami and above all with a typical cheese of Tuscany, called pecorino.

Manufacturer

The first wine’s production of this cave goes back up the year 1300 in the Estate of Castiglioni in Pesa Valley, in Firenze. From the beginning, the Marchesi de Frescobaldi are famous for the quality and the typicalness of their wines, in fact some artists as Donatello were attracted by these wine makers. Today the wine makers of this cave believe in the respect of the territory, by investing in the competence of human resources.
