Barolo docg Monvigliero Bel Colle 2019

The Barolo Monvigliero Bel Colle is an excellent and elegant red wine, with an excellent potential of aging. It is produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Monvigliero cru of Verduno, one of the best sub-areas of the Barolo appellation. The wine shows a beautiful garnet red color with orange reflections; in the nose the bouquet is ample, complex and fruity, with floral and spicy notes on the final. Characterized by a good persistence, in the mouth it is full, robust and complex. With a harmonious and persistent taste, the Barolo Monvilgiero by Bell Colle is a wine for special occasions to drink in combination with main courses of meat, such as roasts and braised meats.

The Bel Colle winery was founded 45 years ago by two brothers Franco and Carlo Pontiglione and Giuseppe Priola. Since 2015, the company has become the property of the Bosio family, native of Santo Stefano Belbo, who renewed the technologies of the winery, without giving up the tradition. The Belcolle winery owns vineyards in the best crus of the hills of Verduno and La Morra and it practices sustainable viticulture, followed by the manual harvest and the soft pressing of the bunches. The wines produced by the company are distinguished by their balance and freshness.
