Etna Bianco “Archineri” doc Pietradolce 2012

Sublime white wine produced with the grapes coming from the centennial vineyards on the East side of the Etna, it shows a strong straw yellow colour, with gold reflexes. The smell of it presents a fruity and intense bouquet with scents of apricot, plum, honey and orange. In the mouth is dry and well balanced, with a long and persistent finale. This wine is perfect to drink in combination to green fish fry, fish starters and Mediterranean platters.

Established in 2005, Pietradolce winery found its home in Solicchiata, a little area within the district of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the Northern slope of the Etna between 600 and 900 feet above sea level. The vineyards extend over an area of 11 hectares dividing them into 3 parts: two of them are in the territory of Rampante and the other one in the territory of Zottorinoto.
