Barolo Vigna Rionda Etichetta Nera by Massolino is the most prestigious creation of the Winery, and represents the highest expression of both that magnificent vineyard and the outstanding vintage. Vigna Rionda gives its name to the peculiar shape and the perfect sun exposure; it's considered as the best Winery vineyard and is defined as the "Great Italian Cru". In the glass, it is bright and intense, with a beautiful garnet red colour. The bouquet is complex, rich, full-bodied, with floral and spiced notes besides hints of withered rose, coffee, strawberry and licorice. The sip is powerful, structured and elegant, with an eveloping tannic texture. Barolo Vigna Rionda Etichetta Nera by Massolino has a great ageing potential and is recommended with grilled red meat, braised game, matured cheese or first courses with meat or mushrooms sauces.
