Ruby red
Fine and elegant
soft and enveloping
Roero Nebbiolo DOCG “Bin Fait” is an expression of Nebbiolo from the hills of Roero, in the municipalities of Monteu Roero and Vezza d'Alba, from south-west-facing vineyards with sandy soils. The vines are approximately 20 years old and are located at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level. The wine is produced using traditional methods, with 15 days of maceration at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks with submerged cap. It is then aged in large oak casks for approximately 12–14 months, followed by a further 6–10 months of bottle ageing. In the glass, it shows a ruby-red colour. The nose is fine and elegant, with delicate notes of dog rose, while the palate is soft and enveloping, with intense hints of blueberry and raspberry. The finish is persistent and warm, with a pleasant spicy note. A distinctive Roero Nebbiolo DOCG, combining the aromatic finesse of Nebbiolo with the structure and depth provided by oak ageing. A wine that expresses the identity of Roero's sandy hills and offers an excellent opportunity to discover a more distinctly terroir-driven interpretation of Piedmontese Nebbiolo. Thanks to its structure and good persistence, Bin Fait is particularly well suited to Piedmontese cuisine and richly flavoured dishes. It is an excellent match for tajarin with meat ragù, agnolotti del plin with roast-meat sauce, porcini mushroom risotto and other substantial pasta and rice dishes. It also pairs beautifully with beef braises and stews, roasts, game and grilled red meats. Its aromatic and spicy character works particularly well with aged cheeses, while the culinary tradition of the area makes it a natural partner for dishes featuring Alba white truffle.
