Description

The Langhe Nebbiolo doc Arbutè by Cascina Lanzarotti is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Roero area on clayey-sandy soils. The vines are approximately 15 years old, producing an interpretation of Nebbiolo focused on freshness, structure and easy drinking. The wine is made using traditional methods, with 12 days of maceration with submerged cap in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. It is then aged for several months in stainless steel, preserving the grape’s freshness and aromatic character. In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red colour. The nose is elegant and fragrant, with delicate notes of rose, blackberry and redcurrant. On the palate, it is fresh, with pleasantly firm tannins that provide structure and balance. The finish is long and persistent, with the distinctive character of Nebbiolo. A versatile and terroir-driven Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, combining the aromatic elegance of Nebbiolo with pleasant structure and good freshness. Thanks to its balance of fruit, tannins and persistence, it is a wine that can be enjoyed both young and with further ageing. Its structure and freshness make it particularly well suited to Piedmontese cuisine. It pairs beautifully with tajarin with meat ragù, agnolotti del plin, mushroom risotto and first courses with rich meat-based sauces. It is also excellent with roast and braised meats, vitello tonnato, grilled meats and game, as well as cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. It can also be enjoyed with dishes featuring mushrooms and truffle, enhancing their aromatic character without overpowering them.
