Barolo by Massolino winery is produced with Nebbiolo grapes, grown in serveral territories near Serralunga d’Alba; it presents a bright dark red colour with some light orange hints. The bouquet is complex and balanced with a various and charming bouquet: fruity and spiced scents of plum, violet, licorice and tobacco. The production style is classic style: we recommend it with well structured and gravy courses made up of red meat, mature cheese and game. Excellent ageing potential.

Manufacturer

The history of the cave is connected with that of Serralunga d’Alba. Giovanni founded his own winery in 1896: even now he is remembered, because he was able to give electrical current to his village. Today the cave is managed by Giovanni’s nieces, Camilla, Renato and Giovanni, that have followed the example of their predecessors. They produce a wine, that can be defined the mirror of tradition and of a territory, where it grows.
