More info

The Barolo Parussi of Massolino is a superb red wine that born from the homonymous vineyard on the hills of Castiglione Falletto. It shows on view with a beautiful ruby red colour, while at nose it is wide and enchanting with intense notes of sweet spices, tobacco, sandalwood and leather. In the mouth it is powerful and austere with dense tannins and a long spicy finish. For these characteristics it is the perfect wine to drink in combination with dishes of Piedmont tradition, stewed or roasted red meat, medium and long seasoning cheeses and stuffed pasta.

The history of the cave is connected with that of Serralunga d’Alba. Giovanni founded his own winery in 1896: even now he is remembered, because he was able to give electrical current to his village. Today the cave is managed by Giovanni’s nieces, Camilla, Renato and Giovanni, that have followed the example of their predecessors. They produce a wine, that can be defined the mirror of tradition and of a territory, where it grows.
