Description

Tha Barbaresco Montersino by Orlando Abrigo is an excellent red wine crafted from the Nebbiolo sub-variety "Lampia" grown within the prestigious Cru Montersino, nestled in the hills of Treiso. After fermentation, the wine matures for 12-15 months in barriques and tonneaux, followed by an additional 12 months in the bottle before being released to the market. It presents itself with a splendid ruby red color. On the nose, immediate notes of berries are followed by hints of hazelnut and mint, with a spicy undertone. On the palate, it is refined and silky, revealing the texture of its tannins. With a full-bodied and rich flavor, the Barbaresco Montersino by Orlando Abrigo  can be enjoyed immediately, perhaps paired with red meat, game, or traditional Piedmontese dishes with truffles; alternatively, it can be left to age for a few years in the cellar.
