More info

Wine that contains balance and pleasantness, produced with Nebbiolo grapes, coming from the most important vineyard, owned by the cave: the “Burdin” one, situated in the district of Neive, and characterized by an excellent South exposition. This wine shows the typical dark red colour with some ruby red nuances; the smell is instead intense and complex, with a bouquet of blueberries, strawberries, violet, spices and green pepper. If you taste it you can perceive its freshness and softness, besides persistence and balance. The “Sorì Burdin” Barbaresco wine is perfect if drunk in combination with excellent first courses, risotto, seasoned cheeses, roasts and braised beef. Furthermore, it owns a good capacity of aging.

Manufacturer

The cave lays in Neive and it was founded about twenty years ago. Today this winery is managed by Aldo Pora, who works in the cave, and by Bruno Ferrio, who works in the vineyards. These two managers have followed the traces of their families, which in 1969 had purchased together cave and vineyards. Aldo and Bruno’s cave occupies 12 hectares of vineyards, that are arranged in the Bordini’s hill.
