More info

Capo Martino by Jermann is a refined and elegant white wine, made with Friulan Tocai, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit grapes. It takes the name from the hill bought by Jermann estate in 1991. In the glass it is golden yellow with intense and bright shades. The bouquet is fruity and floral with notes of ripe and dried fruits, banana, golden apple, hazelnut, broom and vanilla. Capo Martino by Jermann is structured, elegant and fresh. Its light aromatic notes make it perfect with smoked fish starters, seafood risotto and medium aged cheese.

Manufacturer

In 1881 Anton Jermann, creator of this cave, decided to abandon the Austrian land of Burgenland and his estates in Slovenia, because he wanted to move to Friuli Venezia Giulia. Nowadays the cave is managed by Anton’s niece, Silvio, and the estate covers 150 hectares of white vineyards: the most important of them produces Vinnae, a type of wine created in 1983, that derives from the typical territory of Collio. Vinnae is a fresh and well-balanced wine, which respects all the characteristics of its soil. But the success of this winery derives from two kind of red wines , too: The Pignacolousse and the Mjzzu Blau&Blau.
