Etna Bianco Pietradolce 2016

The Etna Bianco of Pietradolce is a fresh white wine produced with Carricante grapes cultivated in Sicily, in the South of Italy. This wine has a great straw yellow color and  a fruited bouquet with yellow peach, persimmon fruit, medlar and flint notes. The taste is fresh and aromatic; with a good structure, freshness and long sapidity it is perfect if drunk with hot entrèe of fish, fish courses and fresh cheeses.

Established in 2005, Pietradolce winery found its home in Solicchiata, a little area within the district of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the Northern slope of the Etna between 600 and 900 feet above sea level. The vineyards extend over an area of 11 hectares dividing them into 3 parts: two of them are in the territory of Rampante and the other one in the territory of Zottorinoto.
