The Langhe Nebbiolo “A mont” of Paolo Conterno winery is made with Nebbiolo grapes grown in Monforte d'Alba. This wine has a bright garnet color; its aroma is fruity and floral with hints of rose and ripe red fruit. The taste is well structured, voluminous, elegant and endowed with complex aromas. The Nebbiolo “A mont” is perfect to drink in combination with traditional dishes of Piedmont cuisine such as tajarin with meat sauce, roasts or seasoned cheeses.
Paolo Conterno founded his winery, which still bears his name today, in 1886 dedicating himself to the cultivation of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Paolo Conterno was a hard worker, who began to market his own wine, making wines personally in his own cellar. Nowadays manages the winery is managed by Giorgio Conterno, who cultivates vineyards with passion and dedication. The winery is located in Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo.
