More info

The Dolcetto wine is a kind of red wine more precocious among those cultivated in Piedmont: it matures in the half part of September, when its bunches are rich of sugar and are good to eat, too. This Dolcetto wine has a ruby red colour with brilliant and violet reflexes, and it emanates vegetal sensations of green wood, cherry and mixed berries. The taste of it is warm and it is endowed with a good structure in balance with a right acidity, that safeguards a correct correspondence between taste and sense of smell. This wine must be combined with every kind of meal, in particular with important starters and first courses.

Manufacturer

The history of Andrea Oberto’s cave is very particular, but very interesting. Andrea Oberto was both a driver and a farmer: after many hours of work as driver, he managed to find his energy in order to cultivate the 3 hectares of vineyards, that he had inherited from his father. A part of grapes was sold to the social cave, and the other part was sold to private customers. Today the winery is bigger, because the hectares of vineyards are 16 and the wine is exported all over the world. Nowadays the cave is managed by Fabio, Andrea’s son, who engages looks for imitate his father, by carrying on the work of a special person.
