Description

The Barolo Pressenda by Marziano Abbona is an elegant and complex red wine, obtained from Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards over 40 years old located in the Pressenda vineyard, in the Monforte d'Alba area. At sight it has a beautiful garnet red color with brick-like nuances, while on the nose there are fruity hints of ripe red fruit, with notes of violet, spices and liquorice. In the mouth it is full and rich in flavor intensity, with an important structure, complete, balanced and characterized by excellent persistence. The tannic texture is well integrated and soft. The Barolo Pressenda by Marziano Abbona is perfect to drink in combination with roasted or braised red meats, rabbit with peppers and important truffle-based dishes. The 2016 vintage was an excellent year for Nebbiolo, giving us excellent Barolos with excellent aging potential.
