More info

Barolo Ravera by Marziano Abbona is an an elegant and refined Barolo wine, made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes coming from “Ravera” cru in Monforte d'Alba. After a long ageing in big oak barrels, it is then assembled and bottled. The colour is ruby red with orange shades; the bouquet is various and charming, complex and elegant, with scents of dog rose, strawberry, spices, vanilla, black pepper and tobacco. With great softness, intense and round tannic sensations, it is perfect with main courses made up of red meat, matured cheeses and game. Moreover, Barolo Ravera by Abbona has a great ageing potential.

Marziano Abbona

The Marziano Abbona’s cave was built in 1970, and it concludes its origins from Celso’s work, the father of Marziano, who has passed on the passion for wine, for vineyards and for soil. Almost 60 years ago, Celso decided to implant the Doriolo vineyards, that represented the best for the Dogliani Dolcetto’s production both for the exposition and for the soil’s nature. Once collected the heritage of his father, Marziano has obtained wines of high quality, by handling, devotion in the production of wines, which reflect the spirit of one of the best wine makers of the Langa.
