More info

Barolo with great balance and harmony, grown from selected Nebbiolo grapes deriving from the so-called Brunate cru, collocated in La Morra. The colour of this wine is an intense, and characteristic ruby red one, a little bit transparent, with orange nuances; the bouquet is elegant and refined, with scents of blueberry, mixed berries, spices, dark chocolate, licorice, and coffee. The taste of this wine is warm, intense and charming, endowed with great structure and persistence: thanks to these characteristics, it is excellent in combination with roasted or braised beef, game and seasoned cheeses.

The history of Andrea Oberto’s cave is very particular, but very interesting. Andrea Oberto was both a driver and a farmer: after many hours of work as driver, he managed to find his energy in order to cultivate the 3 hectares of vineyards, that he had inherited from his father. A part of grapes was sold to the social cave, and the other part was sold to private customers. Today the winery is bigger, because the hectares of vineyards are 16 and the wine is exported all over the world. Nowadays the cave is managed by Fabio, Andrea’s son, who engages looks for imitate his father, by carrying on the work of a special person.
