Description

Roero Arneis Enritard DOCG 2020 by Cornarea is a refined expression of Arneis that showcases the remarkable ageing potential of this historic Roero grape variety. Produced only in the finest vintages from grapes grown in the estate's historic vineyards on the Cornarea hillside, it was created to highlight the complexity that Arneis develops over time. The wine is aged for 24 months in stainless steel tanks, including 6 months on the fine lees, before bottling, a process that preserves freshness and aromatic precision while enhancing depth, texture and structure. Bright straw yellow in colour, it opens with an elegant and intense bouquet of ripe pear, yellow peach and delicate floral notes, enriched by a pronounced mineral character that reflects the magnesium-rich sandy and clay soils of the Cornarea hillside. On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious and beautifully textured, supported by vibrant freshness and a long, persistent finish marked by savoury minerality and remarkable balance. A versatile gastronomic wine, it pairs beautifully with fish, shellfish, grilled white meats, medium-bodied dishes and semi-aged cheeses.
