Etna Bianco doc Villa dei Baroni Tenuta Carranco 2018

Etna Bianco of Carranco winery is an excellent white wine, fresh and fragrant, made with 100% of Carricante grapes, grown in the Etna area. With a nice straw-yellow color, at the nose it develops a floral and fruity bouquet, with notes of peach, green apple, citrus and pineapple, on a mineral background. The taste is soft, complex and intense. With a  medium structure, the Etna Bianco di Carranco is perfect to drink in combination with fish dishes and typical Sicilian dishes, such as fish cous cous and caponata of eggplant.

Tenuta Carranco was born from the meeting between the two wine producers Borgogno and Tornatore, a combination of history and experience. Borgogno,that is the owner of the oldest winery in Barolo, is one of the most important and historical producers of Langhe and Barolo. Tornatore instead, originally from Castiglione di Sicilia, is one of the very few indigenous wines producers of Etna region. In 2018, thanks to an idea of Farinetti, was born the will to exalt the typicality of a territory of Etna under the name of Carranco.
