More info

Sauvignon by Russiz Superiore is made with 100% Sauvignon grapes harvested in Russiz estate, owned by Marco Felluga family. The wine rests on its lees for 8 months before bottling. In the glass, it is bright straw yellow with greenish shades. The bouquet is charming and intense, with vegetal notes of sage, tomato leaf, acacia and pomegranate. The sip is balanced, fresh and sapid, where structured mouthfeel matches with a persistent after-taste. We recommend Sauvignon by Russiz Superiore with seafood starters, vegetarian risotto, fish sauces and soups.

Marco Felluga winery was established in 1860 in Istria. The region named Collio in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, has always been a territory consecrated to viticulture and wine-making. The family has been managing the famous winery and all its vineyards for more than 150 years. Thanks to Marco’s and Ilaria’s hard work, now the winery is made up of two different realities, always interconnected: Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore estates. The latter is located in Capriva del Friuli: from those vineyards, the family makes the Selection, characterized by refinement and elegance.
