Friulano doc Marco Felluga Russiz Superiore 2021

Friulano by Russiz Superiore is a great white wine from Capriva del Friuli. It’s one of the most ancient autochthone varieties of grape and is entirely harvested by hand to preserve the grape integrity and provide an accurate selection. In the glass it is bright straw yellow with greenish shades. The bouquet is typical and intense, with scents of almond, hawthorn, acacia and yellow apple. The sip is soft, enveloping, pleasantly sapid. We recommend Friulano by Russiz Superiore with grilled or steamed fish and seafood, fresh cheese, eggs and quiche Lorraine.

Marco Felluga winery was established in 1860 in Istria. The region named Collio in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, has always been a territory consecrated to viticulture and wine-making. The family has been managing the famous winery and all its vineyards for more than 150 years. Thanks to Marco’s and Ilaria’s hard work, now the winery is made up of two different realities, always interconnected: Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore estates. The latter is located in Capriva del Friuli: from those vineyards, the family makes the Selection, characterized by refinement and elegance.
