The Passerina of Fazi Battaglia winery is a fresh white wine made with the homonymous grapes grown on the hills around Ancona, in the Marche region. Following a careful bunches selection and a period of aging on the noble lees, at view it shows a beautiful straw yellow color. At nose it develops a delicate and fruity bouquet, with notes of peaches and plums on a slightly spicy background. On the palate, it is intense and sapid, fruity with a pleasant long and persistent final. Try it absolutely with risotto with seafood and fried fish.
The Fazi Battaglia winery was founded in 1949 by the union of the Fazi and Battaglia families. A few years later, the winery was sold to the pharmacist Angelini who began to devote himself to the production of a quality Verdicchio; thanks to his courage and his intuition, the Fazi Battaglia winery became a point of reference of Italian enology. Today the Fazi Battaglia winery is part of the Bertani Domains group, owned by the Angelini family, which gathers great expressions of Italian enology.
