Langhe Chardonnay dop Prasuè Saracco 2023

The Langhe Chardonnay dop Prasuè by Saracco is made with pure Chardonnay grapes. This wine has a straw yellow color and is characterized by complexity and structure. On the nose, it develops intense fruity aromas with hints of bread crust. On the palate, it is fruity, with notes of apple and pineapple, harmonious and persistent. Characterized by a long aftertaste and good structure, the Langhe Chardonnay dop by Saracco is perfect to be paired with fish-based appetizers, soups, omelettes, and dishes with white meats.

Saracco’s winery is situated in Castiglione Tinella, a locality halfway between the Langhe hills and the Monferrato area. The cave was found by Luigi Saracco at the beginning of 1900; later Luigi’s son, Giovanni, enter this estate in 1951 and he buys more and more territories, up to 20 hectares of vineyards. In 1986 Paolo, Giovanni’s son, joins the family’s cave and decides to modernize it, but above all he establishes to sell the wine in bottles. Today the property counts 46 hectares of vineyards and it is become a full stop for who is passionate of Moscato wine.
