More info

Roero Arneis Riserva Renesio Incisa by Monchiero Carbone is a new interpretation of Roero Arneis wine. The namesake vineyard, located at a high altitude and rich in sandy soils, has been chosed to harvest the grapes separately. This wine is a limited edition and the bottles are all numbered on the label; it's the best choice for those who look for more aged and complex white wines. In the glass it is intense straw yellow with bright shades. The bouquet is wide and complex, with scents of citrus, white pepper, aromatic herbs and dried apricot. The sip is soft, powerful, extremely fresh and persistent. Roero Arneis Riserva Renesio Incisa by Monchiero Carbone is recommended with complex fish dishes, semi-matured cheese, handmade egg pasta, lasagne and parmigiana.

Manufacturer

Situated in Canale and in the heart of the Roero area, Monchiero Carbone winery has been founded in 1987. Marco Monchiero, a well-known enologist, and his wife Lucetta Carbone decided to unite the plots of their two families, who began to make wine at the beginning of 1900 and stopped a few years ago. The production of wine restarted in 1990, also because of the son Francesco who began to have enological studies. In the last years, the estate has grown up, thanks to the implantation of new vineyards: one of Arneis grapes on the Renesio hill, in Canale, and another one of nebbiolo grapes in the Anime hamlet. Mombirone and Printi vineyards, which are families propriety from many years, has been doubled.
