Roero Arneis Riserva docg Vigna Renesio Monchiero Carbone 2017

The Roero Arneis Riserva Vigna Renesio of the winery Monchiero Carbone is produced in limited edition and the bottles are numbered; it is a perfect wine for those who prefer the most evolved and complex white wines. The wine has an intense and brilliant straw yellow color, the nose is intense and complex with notes of citrus and aromatic herbs. The taste is soft, powerful and has a good acidity and persistence. The Arneis Vigna Renesio of Monchiero Carbone winery is ideal if drunk in combination with fish courses, vegetable starters or with the classic eggplant parmesan.

Situated in Canale and in the heart of the Roero area, Monchiero Carbone winery has been founded in 1987. Marco Monchiero, a well-known enologist, and his wife Lucetta Carbone decided to unite the plots of their two families, who began to make wine at the beginning of 1900 and stopped a few years ago. The production of wine restarted in 1990, also because of the son Francesco who began to have enological studies. In the last years, the estate has grown up, thanks to the implantation of new vineyards: one of Arneis grapes on the Renesio hill, in Canale, and another one of nebbiolo grapes in the Anime hamlet. Mombirone and Printi vineyards, which are families propriety from many years, has been doubled.
