Piodilei Langhe Chardonnay doc Pio Cesare 2020

The Piodilei Chardonnay by Pio Cesare winery is a white wine made from with 100% Chardonnay grapes cultivated in property vineyards in Treiso and Serralunga d'Alba districts. In the glass it shows a great straw yelloe color with green reflexes. It shows perfumes of exotic fruit and notes of melon, banana, white flowers. The taste is soft and harmonic, fresh and sapid. It is perfect if drunk in combination with seafood, shellfishes, pasta and fresh cheeses. Thanks to its refinement of 10 months in barriques, the Chardonnay Piodilei by Pio Cesare has a good ageing aptitude. 

Since 1881 the Pio Cesare’s cave represents the excellent tradition of Piedmont. It is the story of a family that safeguards the style of a Barolo, today very famous in the world, and also exported in more than 40 countries, with the same label that Pio Cesare wanted. Even now we follow the classical interpretation of the Barolo, that is engage our existence in creating wines that are able to exalt the territory.
