Fresh, fragrant, and authentic, Roero Arneis "Innav" by Gabriele Cordero is a white wine born in the heart of the Roero region, from carefully cultivated vineyards between Priocca and Vezza d’Alba. The name "Innav" is a heartfelt tribute to Gabriele’s grandmother and perfectly reflects the soul of this wine: genuine, familiar, and deeply connected to the land. Made from 100% Arneis grapes, grown at around 300 meters above sea level on sandy and marly soils, this wine elegantly expresses the varietal character of one of Piedmont’s signature white grapes. Harvesting is done manually in small crates, following a meticulous selection of the best bunches. The grapes are cooled overnight in a temperature-controlled room before undergoing a gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, in order to preserve the natural freshness and aromatic profile of the grape. After fermentation, the wine undergoes periodic bâtonnage and remains in stainless steel throughout its aging process, right up to bottling. On the nose, it opens with delicate floral aromas, reminiscent of white flowers and acacia, followed by fruity hints of peach. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and mineral, with a clean, savory finish that invites another sip. Thanks to its good aging potential, Roero Arneis Innav by Gabriele Corderi is excellent as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with starters, seafood, white meats, and vegetarian dishes. This is a wine that truly reflects the most authentic identity of the Roero region, ideal for those seeking elegance, drinkability, and a strong sense of place.
