Riesling Montiggl St. Michael Eppan 2020

The Riesling “Montiggl” of the St. Michael Eppan winery is a superior wine, made exclusively with Riesling grapes. The Riesling is a German grape that has found in Trentino Alto Adige a second home; to give life to fresh and minerals wines it needs special environmental conditions, like the cool and sunny climate of the vineyards of the hills of Trentino Alto Adige. It has a nice yellow color with green reflexes, while its nose is intense and fruity, aromatic with hints of apricot and lemon. It is perfect to drink with fish dishes, risotto with asparagus or fresh goat cheese.

Founded in 1907, St. Michael-Eppan’s holding has charming historical walls, a modern and luminous area for tastings and it transmits the pleasure of the Mediterranean hospitality. In addition to the traditional and ancient wood casks, modern technology are used in order to balance tradition and innovation. Because of many years of experience and many experiments, grapes are transformed in excellent wines which well represent the region and the vineyards.
