Sanct Valentin Sauvignon doc St. Michael Eppan 2021

Sauvignon Sanct Valentin by St. Michael Eppan winery, besides being the most famous wine of the winery, is also one of the greatest Italian Sauvignon. It was made for the first time in 1989, using only Sauvignon grapes grown in the best vineyards of the district of Appiano, in the heart of Trentino Alto Adige. This Sauvignon has a straw-yellow color, with light green shades. It is an elegant, fresh and fruity wine. The nose is pleasant and intense, with hints of yellow fruit, gooseberry and elder flowers. The mineral and persistent character make it perfect with appetizers and first courses made of fish, savory pies, risotto with seafood or risotto with vegetables.

Founded in 1907, St. Michael-Eppan’s holding has charming historical walls, a modern and luminous area for tastings and it transmits the pleasure of the Mediterranean hospitality. In addition to the traditional and ancient wood casks, modern technology are used in order to balance tradition and innovation. Because of many years of experience and many experiments, grapes are transformed in excellent wines which well represent the region and the vineyards.
