Pinot Nero doc Riserva St. Michael Eppan 2016

The Pinot Noir Riserva of St. Michael Eppan winery is an excellent red wine made with grapes coming from aged vineyards that are at least 10 years old. Equipped with a nice pomegranate red color, it is an intense wine, in color, aroma and taste. The nose is persistent and fruity, intense with scents of spices and red berry fruit. Whit an excellent ageing potential, ranging from 8 to 10 years, this Pinot Noir is perfect if combined with fish and meat dishes, first courses with meat sauce, game, rabbit roast or aged cheeses.

Founded in 1907, St. Michael-Eppan’s holding has charming historical walls, a modern and luminous area for tastings and it transmits the pleasure of the Mediterranean hospitality. In addition to the traditional and ancient wood casks, modern technology are used in order to balance tradition and innovation. Because of many years of experience and many experiments, grapes are transformed in excellent wines which well represent the region and the vineyards.
