More info

The Etna Rosso of Graci is a medium bodied red wine produced with Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the sandy volcanic soils in Passopisciaro, in the surroundings of Catania, on the northern side of Etna. It  has a nice ruby red color; the bouquet is  floral and fruity, with notes of rose and thyme. It is a well structured wine and it is endowed with a long and persistent ending. The Etna Rosso of Graci is perfect if drunk in combination with a great platter of cold cuts, pasta with '“Pesto alla Trapanese”  sauce based on garlic, almonds, tomato and basil as well as seasoned and tasty cheeses.

Manufacturer

Graci

The Graci winery is located in Passopisciaro, on the northern side of Etna, in a millenary area of wine tradition. All the vineyards of the winery are located in the heart of the Valley of Alcantara, in Contrada Arcurìa, in Contrada Feudo Di Mezzo and in Contrada Barbabecchi, at an altitude between 600 and 1.000 meters. The production is concentrated on autochthonous vine varieties of Sicily, limiting at minimum the interventions in vineyard and avoiding the use of chemical herbicides.
The main characteristic of the wines of Graci is the diversity between wines of different vintages and coming from different vineyards.
