Barbaresco docg Autinbej Ca' del Baio 2018

The Barbaresco docg "Autinbej" of the winery Cà del Baio tis named "Autinbej" because it is produced with grapes from vineyards that the grandfather Ernesto defined as more beautiful and sunny. It ages for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and at least 4 months in bottle. The Barbaresco L'Autinbej of Cà del Baio is an important wine, with a beautiful deep ruby red color. The nose develops intense and fruity aromas that remember  raspberries and jam. Warm, persistent and tannic it is a structured wine that goes well with roasted or braised red meats.

The Grasso family manages the Cà del Baio winery for four generations. Nowadays the company is managed by Giulio and Luciana, together with his daughters Paola, Valentina and Federica, who with passion and experience play different roles, from work in the countryside, in the cellar and up to the marketing of wines. Cà del Baio winery owns 28 hectares of vineyards in the area of Barbaresco and Treiso, both with typical Piedmont vine variety and with vine variety of international origin.
