Description

The Pinéro 2022 by Cà del Bosco is one of the most elegant and refined expressions of 100% Pinot Noir in Italy, a red wine that combines enological precision, depth, and a distinctly modern style. It is an iconic wine of the estate, the result of meticulous work that enhances one of the world’s most complex and noble grape varieties. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from carefully selected vineyards in Franciacorta, cultivated with great attention and hand-harvested with strict selection. Every stage of production follows the rigorous “Ca’ del Bosco Method”: careful bunch selection, grape washing and drying, and parcel-based vinification to preserve the utmost purity of the fruit. Fermentation takes place in small oak barrels, followed by approximately 11 months of ageing in barrique, which adds structure, complexity, and a refined integration of toasty notes without ever overpowering the varietal character. In the glass, it shows a bright, deep ruby red color with darker reflections. The bouquet is fine and complex, revealing notes of wild strawberries, ripe cherry, red currant, and blackberry, followed by elegant hints of sweet spices, black pepper, fine oak, and subtle balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is silky, harmonious, and highly elegant, with very fine and perfectly integrated tannins. Freshness provides lift and verticality, while the rounded structure leads to a long, clean, and gently spicy finish. Perfect with structured white meats, duck, light game, mushrooms, rich risottos, and medium-aged cheeses, it is a gastronomic Pinot Noir that remains extremely refined. A wine of great personality and precision, combining delicacy and depth, fully expressing the contemporary excellence of Franciacorta.

Cà del Bosco

CA' DEL BOSCO The history of this cave begins in the half 60s years, when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought in Erbusco, in Franciacorta, a little field house, the so-called ‘Cà del Bosc’. Today Cà del bosco represents one of the Franciacorta emblem, with its 150 hectares of vineyards, that are collocated in an astute...
